Compassionate therapy for
mind and body
Together, we will find clarity and peace in the healing process. You don’t have to do this alone.
Welcome! I’m happy you’re here
Here’s what I believe: it can be really scary to get in touch with our emotions and needs, but when we avoid them, it wreaks havoc on our lives. We numb out, run away, people please, lash out, pretend we’re “okay”, or sometimes completely shut down.
There comes a point, however, when we decide we want more out of life, and know it's time for change. Perhaps you’re at that point right now. If so, you’ve come to the right place.
My approach
-
Relational
As the wise Irvin Yalom once said, “It’s the relationship that heals.” Therapy only really ‘works’ when the therapeutic relationship feels connected, safe, and trusting. Relational trauma requires relational healing.
-
Somatic
Sometimes, talk therapy just isn’t enough. Oftentimes, our body knows what we’re feeling, while our mind struggles to catch up. I believe effective therapy isn’t just about talking about our feelings, it’s about really feeling them, in the body.
-
Psychodynamic
Negative core self-beliefs are often established early in childhood. Together, we will connect the dots between past and present to support you to make new, more empowered choices in the future.

“And I said to my body, softly, ‘I want to be your friend.’
It took a long breath and replied, ‘I've been waiting my whole life for this.’"
